The K712 PRO is an open, over-ear headphone built for critical listening, mixing and mastering. Its open-back construction gives a wide, airy sound, and the low-end response is improved by 3 dB over the earlier design for clearer bass imaging. A flat wire voice coil handles impulse and treble response, and the transducers are selected to keep channels consistent for accurate localization.

Comfort is a focus for long sessions: the headband uses genuine soft leather, the earpads are replaceable, and the headphones weigh 235 g. The design is not foldable.

The cable connects through a professional mini XLR socket, so it can be swapped quickly. Each cable ends in a gold-finished 3.5 mm stereo plug with a screw-on 6.3 mm adapter. A coiled cable and a carrying bag come in the box.
