The AMP-F10 is a stereo power amplifier built around a 1000 W linear power supply in which each channel has its own supply section. Output is 200 W per channel at 8 ohms and 320 W per channel at 4 ohms. In bridged mode it reaches 650 W at 8 ohms and 950 W at 4 ohms.
The output stage uses five pairs of matched MOSFET transistors per channel, wired in parallel to share current evenly. The input stage is a dual differential design with a symmetrical circuit and negative feedback, intended to keep distortion low and to reject common-mode noise. Stated figures include 0.008% total harmonic distortion, a 113 dB signal-to-noise ratio and a damping factor above 600. A DC filtering circuit sits between the mains supply and the audio circuits to remove low-frequency DC and reduce toroidal transformer hum.
Sources connect through RCA or XLR inputs, so the amplifier can be used with hi-fi components as well as studio equipment.
