QSC

The Quad Stereo Channel combines four stereo channels in one module. Each channel has a voltage-controllable input VCA that can be driven into saturation, a volume fader, a pan control that can switch to crossfading between two mono sources, two effect sends (pre- or post-fader), and mute, solo-in-place and PFL switches. With crossfade mode, the module can act as a limited eight-channel mono mixer.

Two unbalanced outputs carry the local left/right sum of the four channels, so the module can work as a standalone mixer or as a parallel processing path in a bigger system. Two mono jack outputs mirror the effect send sum, which allows effects use where a Group module does not fit. A mono auxiliary input adds one more signal to the final sum with no controls or attenuation.

Control voltage inputs cover the VCAs, the pan/crossfade on channels 1 and 4, and the effect sends (yellow on channel 1, green on channel 4). Mute works over the input VCA, so it also silences the effect sends. Solo scenes can be recalled with the Safe Solo button on a Group module, and PFL works with the PFL fader on the Master module.
