R-28F

The R-28F is a floorstanding loudspeaker in the Klipsch Reference Series, positioned as the largest high-performance option in that line. It is intended for medium to large rooms and for listeners who use the speaker for both film soundtracks and music.

High frequencies are handled by a 1-inch aluminum Linear Travel Suspension tweeter loaded into a horn. Low and mid frequencies come from two 8-inch copper-spun high-output IMG woofers. The cabinet is finished in brushed black polymer veneer and measures 42 inches high, 9.5 inches wide and 15.7 inches deep.

A spec sheet and a product manual (shared across the Reference speaker range) are available as downloads from the product page for further technical detail. Connection types, impedance and sensitivity figures are not given in the page text.
