R-30C

The R-30C is a center channel speaker from the Reference series. A 1" Linear Travel Suspension aluminum tweeter with Kapton suspension sits on a redesigned 90° x 90° Tractrix horn with larger outer dimensions, which controls directivity over a wider range of frequencies. Two 3.5" spun-copper thermoformed crystalline polymer woofers use steeper cone angling, a design carried over from the Reference Premiere series.

A tapered array crossover improves dispersion between the woofers and tweeter, aimed at clearer midrange and easier-to-follow dialogue in films, music and games. The cabinet is reinforced ¾" MDF with hidden fasteners and low-profile magnetic grilles, and its slim footprint is meant to sit unobtrusively near a flat-screen TV.

A spec sheet and a product manual are available as downloads from the maker. Connection details, such as terminals and amplifier requirements, are given in those documents rather than in the product overview.
