StudioDAC
The StudioDAC is a compact stereo digital-to-analog converter built around an ESS9038Q2M chip, designed with Mytek Audio engineer Michal Jurewicz and made in the USA. It takes USB, coaxial and optical inputs and is aimed at listeners who want to connect a streamer or computer to a hi-fi system.

The StudioDAC converts digital audio from a computer or streamer into an analog signal over a fixed-level RCA output. It decodes PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz, plays DSD64 and DSD128 over USB, and performs full MQA decoding and rendering in hardware.
A low-noise precision clock generator keeps jitter down, and an apodizing filter is used to remove sharp-edged high frequencies and pre-ringing. LED indicators show the format and resolution of the incoming signal so bit-perfect playback can be confirmed.
Inputs are USB 2.0 (type B), S/PDIF coaxial and Toslink optical. Power comes from an outboard 100-240 VAC supply that delivers 12 V DC, which is intended to keep noise low and leaves room for future upgrades. The unit was voiced by MoFi Electronics and is built in the USA.
