The 2M Mono Verso is a moving magnet cartridge intended for mono microgroove LP records. This Verso version is configured for bottom-mount headshells, for turntables where the cartridge is fixed from underneath the headshell rather than on top.
It uses a nude spherical diamond stylus with an 18 µm tip radius on an aluminium cantilever. The strapped output sends the same signal from both sets of pole pins, so it can be used with a stereo phono stage and does not need mono-specific equipment. Output is 4 mV at 1 kHz, with a recommended tracking force of 1.8 g.
The body is made of polymer and aluminium in black and white. The cartridge weighs 7.2 g, and 16.7 g when premounted. Electrical loading is recommended at 47 kOhm and 150-300 pF. A replacement guide for the M2.0 mm top-plate screws is provided for the Verso mounting.
