The Debut E HP is a belt-drive turntable with a 300 mm, 1.7 kg steel platter that runs on a stainless steel axle in a bronze bushing. Speed is changed electronically between 33 and 45 rpm, with 78 listed in brackets. The plinth is MDF, and the unit is hand-made in Europe.
An 8.6" one-piece aluminium tonearm carries a pre-adjusted Ortofon OM5e cartridge. A built-in phono preamp means the turntable can feed line-level inputs directly. A built-in headphone amplifier allows listening without a separate amp.
The turntable has separate line and phono RCA outputs. These use a semi-symmetrical cable with metal, gold-plated RCA connectors. It runs from a 15 V DC / 0.8 A external power supply. A dust cover, felt mat and 7" single adapter are supplied.
