The Blues Cube Artist212 is a two-speaker version of Roland's Blues Cube combo. It uses Tube Logic circuitry to reproduce the behaviour of a tweed-era tube amp, including preamp and output distortion, power supply sag and touch response, without actual tubes. It has an 85 W output and two custom 12-inch speakers in an open-back poplar cabinet.
There are separate Clean and Crunch channels, each with Boost and Tone switches. A Dual Tone mode blends the two channels. Shared controls include three-band EQ, Presence and Master. A four-way Power Control (0.5 W, 15 W, 45 W, Max) lets the amp be pushed hard at lower volumes. Onboard reverb and tremolo are included, along with an effects loop.
For connection, the amp has high and low inputs, a line out, a stereo headphone jack and a USB Type B port for recording straight to a computer. Rear jacks take the optional GA-FC Foot Controller or BOSS footswitches for channel select, Dual Tone, tremolo and effects loop control.
