The GO:KEYS GO-61KL is a 61-key keyboard with Ivory Feel, box-shaped velocity-sensitive keys. Its Loop Mix function triggers drum, bass and instrument loop phrases from the keyboard, so songs can be built in real time without knowing chords. Ten performance pads add pitch, filter and roll effects, and the keyboard offers 554 tones with the category buttons used to call up sound types such as pianos, synths, strings and brass.
A built-in recorder saves performances as Standard MIDI Files, with room for 99 songs, and songs can be backed up over USB. The keyboard has two built-in speakers, and plugging in headphones mutes them. It runs from the supplied AC adaptor or from six AA batteries, weighs 3.9 kg and is easy to carry.
Connections include a stereo mini-jack for phones/output, a stereo mini AUX IN jack, a 1/4-inch pedal jack and a USB Micro-B port for MIDI to a computer. The keyboard can also be used with the ScratchX educational programming platform, which needs System Program 1.20 or later and the GO:KEYS ScratchX Extension.
