The SL Handheld Set pairs the SL Handheld DW transmitter, fitted with the MME 865 condenser capsule, with a stationary receiver. It is built for speech work such as presentations and lectures. The system handles frequency and interference management automatically, and the audio link is protected with 256-bit AES encryption.
The handheld runs on a rechargeable BA 10 Li-Ion battery pack with up to 15 hours of operation. The pack can be charged over USB, and a cable is supplied. The user interface is a focused display that is easy to read and operate, and the system can be remote controlled.
The set comes in two versions. The Rackmount Set (-R) includes the GA 4 rackmount kit and pouch for installing the receiver in a rack. The Case Set (-C) ships in a transport case without rackmounts, for users who do not plan to install the receiver. The receiver outputs audio on an XLR 3-pin male connector.
