The MX395 is a boundary microphone intended for conference and meeting tables where the microphone should be as unobtrusive as possible. Its housing is only 1.25 inch (3.8 cm) across, and it is offered in black, white and aluminum finishes so it can be matched to the room.
The pickup pattern is set by the capsule fitted: cardioid, omnidirectional or bidirectional, indicated by the suffix in the model number. The microphone is specified with a wide dynamic range and a smooth frequency response. CommShield technology is included. Models with the -LED suffix add a bi-color status indicator, and a logic input allows the LED to be controlled remotely.
Output is available on a 3-pin or 5-pin XLR connector depending on the version. An optional A400MB Mute Button can be added to give the microphone touch-sensitive muting.
