The EATON is a Legacy Series book-shelf loudspeaker built around a 10-inch Dual Concentric driver rated at 400 watts. The driver places the high-frequency horn and the low-frequency cone on one axis, giving point-source imaging. It revisits the 1970s HPD monitors, keeping the original cabinet layout while using newer drivers, electronic components and high-density enclosure materials.
A crossover with two independent channels handles the low and high sections of the driver separately. A front-mounted two-band energy control panel lets the listener raise or lower the lows and highs to suit the room. The enclosure is braced with DMT (Differential Materials Technology) for driver coupling, and 12 mm rubber pads on the base add stability and absorb energy. Each cabinet is handcrafted in the maker's Poland and UK workshops.
Connection is through customised 24 carat multi-layer gold-plated binding posts, with a fifth binding post intended to reduce RF interference. Each speaker ships with an owner's care package and a Birth Certificate.
