GB-10

The GB-10 takes a guitar or bass through a 1/4" input and runs it through built-in effects, including amp modelling, delay, reverb and chorus. The player can monitor the result on headphones while playing along with music stored on the unit. Recording is to WAV at 44.1kHz/16-bit, and overdubbing lets a part be layered over an existing take to build up an arrangement.

For practising, playback handles 16 or 24-bit WAV files and MP3 files. Dedicated loop buttons repeat a chosen section, and variable speed audition speeds up or slows down the audio without changing its pitch. A chromatic tuner and a metronome are included, and a large LCD with dedicated keys keeps operation straightforward.

Audio is stored on an SD/SDHC card, and a 2GB card is supplied. A USB 2.0 jack moves music files between the unit and a computer. The body has an angled desktop design, and the package also contains AA batteries and a USB cable.
