WiiM Pro is a streamer rather than an amplifier, so it needs powered speakers or an amplifier/receiver with passive speakers. It has a built-in TI DAC with an analog RCA line output, plus optical and coaxial digital outputs for feeding an external DAC. Playback supports resolutions up to 24-bit/192 kHz from supported sources, with a quoted 106 dB SNR and -92 dB THD+N on the analog line-out.
Streaming runs through AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Alexa Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, DLNA and Roon Ready, or through the WiiM Home app. Sound tuning includes RoomFit room correction, 24 EQ presets, a 10-band graphic EQ, a 10-band parametric EQ and separate EQ settings for each source. Top-panel controls cover play/pause, volume and a preset.
Line In and Optical In let a turntable, CD player or TV join a WiiM-only multi-room group, with auto-sensing that switches to an input when a signal is detected. Devices can be grouped for synchronized playback or paired as a stereo pair, and the unit can be paired wirelessly with the WiiM Sub Pro. It connects over Wi-Fi or Ethernet and is set up through the WiiM Home app.
