The SC6000M Prime is a standalone media player with a motorized 8.5-inch metal platter. A brushless DC motor offers adjustable light or heavy torque, and the platter works with a quick-release slipmat and a dedicated DJ vinyl. Eight rubber performance pads handle hot cues, loops, rolls and slices, and they are illuminated for visibility in dark venues.
A 10.1-inch full-colour touchscreen is used to browse and search libraries, edit crates and work with stacked waveforms. The unit runs Engine OS on a multi-core processor and can analyse files on board. It works as two players in one, each with its own pair of analog and digital outputs. Tempo changes use time-stretch and key shift, with key matching for harmonic mixing.
Music can come from three USB-A ports, an SD slot or an internal 2.5-inch SATA drive bay. Built-in Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port allow streaming from Beatport LINK, Beatsource LINK, SoundCloud GO+ and TIDAL, plus Dropbox cloud storage. Bluetooth input and output are supported.
