The Muro Pro OD-M81T is a two-way on-wall speaker designed for use both outdoors and indoors. It combines a 25 mm silk dome tweeter with an 8-inch polypropylene woofer in a UV-resistant plastic cabinet rated IP66. The enclosure is sealed by default, and removable port plugs let the installer switch to a ported configuration for more bass when the weather allows.
A built-in transformer provides selectable 70 V taps (60 W, 30 W, 15 W and 7.5 W) as well as a direct 8 ohm connection, so the speaker suits distributed audio systems. The brackets are mounted internally and there are no large knobs on the front. A supplied bracket allows vertical, horizontal, wall, ceiling or corner mounting. The logo rotates to match the orientation, and the shoulder mount is marked in 15 degree steps to help align several speakers.
Connections are made on 5-way binding posts. A rear plastic cover with a watertight wire grommet hides the cabling and maintains the IP66 protection. The speaker comes in black or white.
