The RAIN 4 is the smallest of three weatherproof two-way speakers in the Elipson RAIN range. It is built for temperature extremes and high humidity, so it can be used outdoors by a pool, in a garden or under a porch, as well as in sunrooms, kitchens, spas, bars and restaurants. It uses a 4-inch mid-bass driver and is sold as a pair.
The enclosure is described as ultra-rigid and resistant to UV, and the grille is rustproof, both aimed at a long service life. Every speaker in the range has a built-in wall mount system that is simple to fit and gives a 180° dispersion angle, spreading sound across the listening area.
The RAIN 4 is offered in white or black. Larger siblings in the range are the RAIN 6 (6.5-inch mid-bass) and RAIN 8 (7.9-inch mid-bass), and 100V versions of those two models also exist for installations that need them.
