The LINEAR 5 MK2 115 FA is an active two-way, bass-reflex loudspeaker with a 15" cone driver and a 1" compression driver on a rotatable constant-directivity horn. It is the FA variant of the LINEAR 5 MK2 range, with a longer horn for greater throw distance and the strongest low-end of the series. A Class D biamped amplifier delivers 600 W RMS (1200 W peak), and the maximum peak SPL is 138 dB.
On-board DSP provides a 10-band parametric EQ, high-pass and low-pass filters, polarity, level, delay, limiter and mute. Presets are Flat, Boost, Low Cut and Remote, and a dedicated filter matched to the LINEAR 5 MK2 subwoofers lets the cabinet work as a system mid/high unit. Settings can be edited in the DSP CONTROL software for Windows and Mac OS.
Connections are an XLR/jack combo input, an XLR link output, a DSP output, an Ethercon network input with MILAN digital audio transmission, and an IEC mains inlet with V-lock. The hybrid birch plywood/MDF cabinet has two MultiGrip handles, a DuoTilt pole mount and M8 rigging points. Optional TB-45N or TB-45NQ tilt brackets allow flying, and the horn dispersion suits horizontal and vertical clustering.
