LivePod Plus is a compact interface for live streaming from a phone. It is built around a custom DSP chip with four 24-bit DSP cores and a 16-bit CPU, which processes the voice in real time. Eight DSP presets (Pop, Karaoke, MC, Live, Pitch, Hi-Tone, Low-Tone and Bypass) shape the vocal, and eight built-in samples such as Laugh, Siren, Air-horn and Clap can be triggered on the fly.
Sound can be adjusted with Hi, Mid and Low EQ controls and an echo control on selected presets, each with LED level indication. A vocal tune control with a 12-LED display tunes the voice automatically. Loop Back and Voice Over buttons, a Dry Record button that switches effects on or off in the recording, and a direct monitor switch complete the control set. Separate gain knobs and 8-LED meters cover the mic and the line-in (background music) inputs.
A 3.5mm mic input with 5V phantom power takes microphones, a 3.5mm stereo line input takes background music, and a TRRS jack links directly to a mobile phone. Outputs are a headset jack and a line out. The unit is rechargeable over Micro-USB, has a four-colour battery indicator and a metal casing.
