The EON715 is a self-powered 15-inch PA loudspeaker with a custom woofer, driver and horn, and a nominal 90° x 60° coverage pattern. It is rated at 650 W continuous and 1300 W peak, reaches 128 dB peak SPL and covers 55 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB). Because the amplifier is built in, no external power amp is needed.
A built-in 3-channel digital mixer with a backlit colour LCD handles level and sound shaping. The DSP, based on dbx DriveRack technology, provides automatic feedback suppression, an 8-band output EQ with use-case presets and speaker delay. Music ducking lowers playback automatically when a microphone signal is detected. The JBL Pro Connect app (iOS and Android) allows adjustments from anywhere in the venue.
The cabinet is made of talc-reinforced polypropylene with metal grilles, which keeps weight down to 16.9 kg. It can be used on a pole, as a floor monitor, flown from M10 suspension points, or wall-mounted with the optional EON700 Universal Yoke Mount. Music can be streamed over Bluetooth 5.0, and the maker backs the speaker with a 7-year warranty.
