RP-504C II

The RP-504C II is a ported center channel speaker designed to carry dialogue and vocals in a surround-sound or stereo setup. A 1-inch Linear Travel Suspension titanium diaphragm tweeter sits behind a larger 90° x 90° silicone composite hybrid Tractrix horn, and the tweeter housing is vented to reduce standing waves. Four 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofers handle the lower frequencies, supported by a Tractrix-geometry port intended to reduce port noise.

The cabinet has additional internal bracing to limit resonance and vibration. It is finished in ebony or walnut vinyl with a satin-painted baffle and a scratch-resistant surface. A magnetically attached removable grille covers the drivers, and cork pads replace rubber bumpers for placement on a stand or table.

Connection is through a redesigned input panel with audiophile-grade wire and easily accessible aluminum binding posts. A spec sheet and product manual are available as downloads from the maker.
