The JUNO-STAGE is a performance-oriented synthesizer with a 76-note velocity-sensitive keyboard and 128-voice polyphony across 16 parts. Its sound set includes a multi-sampled stereo piano taken from the Fantom-X, and two slots accept Roland SRX wave expansion boards, sold separately, to extend the library.
For live use it offers a 240 x 64 dot backlit graphic display, favorite buttons for quick access to patch banks, a patch select jack for a dual footswitch, and dedicated knobs for reverb and master EQ. Two assignable switches sit above the pitch bender, and a D BEAM controller is included. A Click output sends a metronome to other players on stage.
A front USB port plays MP3, WAV, AIFF and SMF files from a USB memory stick, with a Center Cancel function to reduce recorded vocals and a Playlist Editor for PC and Mac. A combo mic input with phantom power feeds the reverb and vocoder. MIDI in/out and a USB MIDI connection allow use with a computer, and a MIDI Controller mode turns the unit into a master keyboard.
